General Provisions

These terms of service set out the rules for using the "Gardener Planner" application - a free tool for planning and managing a vegetable garden.

The owners and co-administrators of the application are:

(hereinafter: "Administrators")

By using the application, you accept the following terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the application.

Definitions

• Application – The web/mobile application 'Gardener Planner' available through a browser or as a PWA app
• User – A person using the Application
• Account – An optional account created by signing in with Google, enabling data synchronization
• Service – Functionalities provided by the Application

Scope of Service

The "Gardener Planner" application is free and offers:

• Vegetable garden planning with a visual editor
• A vegetable database with growing information
• Gardening calendar and reminders
• Tools: fertilizer calculator, soil analysis, spraying
• Harvest recording
• Weather data for your location (requires location permission)
• Optional data synchronization between devices (requires sign-in)

Technical Requirements

To use the Application, the following is required:

• A device with internet access (computer, tablet, smartphone)
• A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• JavaScript and localStorage support enabled

Rules of Use

The User agrees to:

• Use the application in accordance with its intended purpose
• Not attempt to interfere with the code or infrastructure of the application
• Not share their account with third parties
• Not use the application in a manner that violates the law or the rights of third parties

Privacy and Personal Data

The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms of Service.

The application processes data in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council).

Limitations of Liability

Warning: The databases contained in the application (information about fertilizers, plant protection products, diseases and pests) are under development and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Before applying any products, you must verify the information with official manufacturer data, product labels, or consult a specialist.

The Administrators are not responsible for:

• Databases under development – Databases regarding fertilizers, plant protection products, diseases and pests are under construction and continuously being updated. They may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. The User uses this data at their own risk and should verify information with official sources (product labels, manufacturer data, specialist guides) each time.
• Gardening information – Data about vegetables, planting dates, and growing methods is for informational and educational purposes. We recommend verification with local climate conditions and consultation with specialists.
• Weather data – Sourced from external services and may not be 100% accurate. Intended for reference purposes only.
• Plant protection products and fertilizers – Information about spraying, fertilizers, and dosing is approximate and may contain errors. Calculators serve only as supplementary tools. Always read product labels, safety data sheets, and follow official manufacturer recommendations. The use of plant protection products and fertilizers is solely at the User's own risk. The Administrators are not liable for damages resulting from incorrect dosing or application of products.
• Disease and pest information – Descriptions of diseases, symptoms, and treatment methods are for informational and educational purposes. They may be incomplete or outdated. Diagnosing plant diseases based on the application does not replace consultation with an expert. The Administrators are not liable for incorrect disease identification or ineffective treatment methods.
• Local data storage – We are not responsible for the loss of data stored locally on the User's device. We recommend using cloud synchronization.
• Losses resulting from use – The Administrators are not liable for any losses (e.g., failed crops) resulting from decisions made based on information from the application.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The application is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that the application will operate without interruption, without errors, or that it will meet all User expectations. The Administrators make efforts to ensure the application works correctly but cannot guarantee this.

Intellectual Property

The "Gardener Planner" application, including its source code, graphics, vegetable database, and other elements, are protected by copyright and are the property of the Administrators.

The User receives a non-exclusive, free license to use the Application in accordance with its intended purpose.

The User retains full rights to the content they enter into the application (garden plans, notes, photos of their own crops).

Complaints

Complaints regarding the operation of the Application can be submitted by contacting the Administrators.

A complaint should include a description of the problem and contact details to enable a response. The Administrators will review the complaint within 14 days of receipt.

Changes to Terms

The Administrators reserve the right to change these terms of service.

Users will be informed of significant changes through a notification in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the application after changes are introduced means acceptance of those changes. If you do not accept the new terms, you should stop using the application.

Termination

The User may stop using the Application at any time.

To delete local data, clear browser data or uninstall the application.

To delete your account and cloud data, use the option in the application settings or contact the Administrators.

Governing law: These Terms of Service are governed by Polish law. In matters not regulated by these Terms, the provisions of the Civil Code and other applicable laws shall apply.
